Family Meeting

“Tuesday, August 20th” Shawn has had two very good & blessed weeks here at Craig Hospital in Denver! Lots of smiles & laughs… Shawn has been out of a “coma” now for an extended period of time. His medical state is called “emerging consciousness.” His head nurse Pat says he has appropriate responsiveness, which means he responds the correct way to all stimuli. He laughs accordingly & shows the correct responses to his environment & structure. We are Lord willing progressing towards Shawn talking & walking. Yesterday, we had our family meeting with Shawn’s medical team. All discussed was positive. We learned he has some areas in which he need’s certain healing-which Dr. Weintraub will specifically address. Please pray for Shawn to receive the exact medical treatments he needs for a full recovery. Most importantly, pray for God’s anointed & healing touch on Shawn. We know God can heal immediately or heal over the course of time. My Dad is believing Shawn is already healed & the Lord will reveal it in HIS timing. We seek the Lord’s perfect timing on Shawn’s full recovery. The plan is for Shawn to be here at Craig Hospital receiving “specific & personalized” treatment until mid-October. The medical staff is very encouraged by Shawn’s progress & they are very optimistic. What a blessing it is to be here at Craig Hospital. We thank God for all that HE is doing in Shawn’s life; both physically & spiritually. Please know, the Spirit of God is at work in Shawn’s life. This is clear & indisputable—Shawn “is” a vessel of God’s mercy. Praise the Lord! HIS compassion is ministering to Shawn. HIS love continues to drawn Shawn to Himself. Romans 9 says God will have mercy on whom He will have mercy & He will have compassion on whom He will have compassion. We praise our Almighty God for who HE is & HIS mercy on Shawn. Please continue praying for Shawn. Thanks so much.
