J”85 Days”. Family & Friends, thanks for your prayers. The Lord continues to heal Shawn on a daily basis. He has come a long way since his first month in a coma. It’s been a few weeks now of him talking & continued improvement of his arms & legs. We are so grateful to God for Shawn’s progress. Tonight Shawn was able to leave the hospital in his wheelchair for a nice meal at Benihana. His appetite is excellent, so we know he’s getting better. He had originally lost about 25 pounds, but he’s gained about 10 of those pounds back. On Sunday Shawn & my Dad are planning on going to the Broncos-Eagles NFL game (Lord willing) with some of the other Craig Hospital patients. These outings are very good for Shawn. The medicines seem to be working (no longer any associated sicknesses or ailments) & the therapists are so encouraged by Shawn’s hard work & progress. We can’t thank the Lord Jesus enough for His compassion on Shawn. We are extremely grateful to God for His goodness & mercy regarding Shawn’s recovery. One day at a time is how we stay focused. Our family has so much to be thankful for. Please keep praying…there are many long & difficult days ahead with a variety of challenges. God bless you.
